Lauren has been mismatching vintage china and flatware since 2011. In 2014 Lauren Kreter opened Borrowed, expanding into stylizing and sourcing for private and corporate events and homes. Lauren's love for everything vintage started at an early age when she would travel near and far with her family as her parents scoured for the next "piece" to complete their ever growing collections. Lauren is also heavily involved with the Westport Farmers Market, and in 2017 took a role on the Board of Directors. She is passionate about supporting local and the three R's that lead her to creating this company! She loves bringing back the love of something old and unique to your table and seeing people smile. You can find Lauren filling her days going to many a flea market, farmers markets, visiting local farms, exclusive antique shops or the tiniest mom and pop shops she can get too! Her personal favorite collections include her cow creamers (surprise, surprise!! ) which she shares with her niece Jane... Mooo!
